The Great Florida Riverway – comprised of the Silver, Ocklawaha, and St. Johns Rivers –
deserves our community’s support and timely action, as proposed in the 2025-26 state
budget.

Declining conditions due to saltwater intrusion from dredging and sea level rise, toxic algae
blooms, depleted eelgrass, poor and restricted flow of fresh water all compromise this
once healthy river system…
